Living in California, I cannot buy moth balls or any of the other over-the-counter products I had once used to preserve felt fedoras.
Then I discovered Gardens Alive, largely a garden hobbyist supplier, that offers Moth-Away Repellent packets. They run about twenty bucks for 48 packets. These are herbal, odorless and work for up to four months. They have done the job for me...actually, for well over four months.
