Everyday wear quality.
It is made in Ecuador - made off the same toquilla plant fibers, woven for a few days.
Not a few months - the price clearly indicates that.

But I assume you also need something for beach, BBQ, gardening, excursions, etc.
That's what you get for the price.
Such hats also have several years of shelf life and you use them more often.

I got my everyday Panama for 70 USD - not from PanamaBob.

Panamabob- if you see this, I need adviceon your sizes- my noggin measures 22 1/16, or 56.5 cm's. Would I want the Small or the Medium?

I ordered one just a few days ago to be exactly what I expect…a nice $26 straw hat for everyday summer outdoor work use. Bob and Diana were very helpful to ensure hat size and brim width I wanted. Write them before you buy, get what you want.

It should be here in a week or less, I’ll report back.

I have no delusions of it being one of Bob’s $300+ Super Duper Primo Fino hats, but then that’s not what I’m after…yet.

Lookin' good Rusty!:eusa_clap ...I find my panama to be quite warm in the summer. It's such a fine weave, I don't think it breaths that well. Does the PB keep your head cool enough?[huh]

Yes the PB is about the coolest straw I have worn. It vents very well.

I wore it alot last summer after I got it back from Art.
It is really a 'cool' summer hat.
No the ribbon is black...but a dark green would be sweet on a hat like this.
