This is a custom leather rider's jacket by Apparel Annex Leather Tailors probably from the 70's. Apparel Annex was a small custom tailor known mostly for their leather jackets. They were in Seattle between the 60's and 80's. This one is a butterscotch color in remarkable condition. There are some small spots of worn pigment at the collar fold and a short scratch to the right of that, shown in a photo. The quilted insulative lining is in perfect condition. Apparel Annex only signed or tagged their jackets by sewing a leather patch on the inside. This patch is of split hide so it's hard to make out the embossing, but it's a steer's head with a long needle and thread speared between it's eyes, and having the words APPAREL ANNEX LEATHER TAILORS all around that.. There's no size indication but this should fit someone with fairly broad shoulders and about a 40" chest, and with long arms. The measurements seem to show that it will fit a larger person, but those are my size characteristics (plus my waist is 36") and it fits me very well. This is due to the insulation (which really isn't all that thick) and the extra layers of leather, plus tapered, tailored fit.

It has a main 2 way heavy Talon cross zip that runs all the way to the shoulder. The collar has inside snaps, one of which can snap to the top of the lapel that's zipped all the way up. There are zip cuffs, 2 hand warmer pockets, a cross zip gun pocket, and an inside pocket. The pocket linings all appear as new cotton duck. . All the zippers are metal Talon zips. There's a small snap flap pocket under the 2 left pockets, with a silky brown lining. There are snap belt loops and a bottom front snap, with all snaps looking like aged copper. There are side laces that can be laced up to create about a 34" waist, or adjusted to add up to about 8 more inches on each side. There's a V back yoke and rain epaulets with snaps. This is a uniquely designed, practical jacket, weighing it at a little under 5 lbs. Here are some measurements:

armpit seam to armpit seam 24"
6-1/2" below the armpit seams where the waist adjusters begin 20-1/2"
bottom hem as seen adjusted to in fit photos 36"
top shoulder seam straight over to the other seam 20-1/2"
sleeve from top shoulder straight down to outer cuff edge 26-1/4"
back length from base of collar 28-1/4"

Price is $325 net.
