I bought these, new, from The Cockpit (Broadway at Houston, upstairs) in the early '80s. They're made in NYC. Both jackets are very nicely broken in. I haven't worn them for years and I can't interest my kids in them.
Neither are in pristine condition, but they are far from junk. I'd wear them now but they're too small for me.

Repairs have been made to both shoulder seams and pockets on the B-3 and there are a couple of other very minor issues. It's a very warm shearling bomber jacket.

On the G-2, the lining was replaced (but lables retained). Fabric cuffs and waistband in very good shape. There is a stiff stain from some substance (I have no clue) at a front bottom corner. I'm guessing it can be cleaned. As I recall, all seams are sound and zippers work. No major issues but I'll certainly confirm and take pictures as well if there's interest.

I'd like to sell them as a pair, for $300 + actual shipping.
Thanks for looking.

Hi Fletch,
I don't quite know how to answer that.
I'd be happy to take some actual measurements for you if you'll instruct me how.

I have included some measurements if this is helpfull.

From where MY shoulder ends (a little above the shoulder seam) to the end of the sleeve is 27 1/2 ".

From the actual shoulder seam to the end of the sleeve is 24 1/2".

The sleeve ends 3 1/4" past the bottom of the jacket (this is the length of the cuff).

The measurement around the inside of the jacket from armpit height (across chest area) is a total of 53" (across right front panel is 14", across left front panel is 14" and across jacket back is 25"...14+14+25=53).

Hello Bassman, I saw your listing here(was linked from another page, I forget where) and noticed that awesome B-3. I've been looking for one for a bit, but looking to try the style before I fork over the big bucks for an ELC or Lost Worlds type. I was wondering if it was still for sale, and how much you'd be willing to part with it for? I'm unsure if your 200$ price was for the other mentioned jacket. Thank you very much for your time.

Very Respectfully,

R/C

Thanks for the inquiry Rycraft.
I recently re-listed this here asking $300 but you replied to the old ad asking for $200 so I'll honor that if you're interested.
That does not include shipping costs.
I'll ask for payment up front.
Let me know.

Thank you for your swift response! And much obliged on keeping the aforementioned pricing, definitely sweetens the deal. Just two more questions: First, is Paypal the accepted transfer, and second-how much is shipping to Illinois, specifically area code 60096?

Thanks again.

Very Respectfully,

R/C

I don't have paypal so payment will have to be personal check or money order.
I will ship when funds have cleared.
I'll have to pack it up and bring it to the PO to check the rate. Thanks for providing your zip code.
I'll inquire about first class shipping (and other options), insurance (if you like, but suggested) and delivery confirmation (about $.50).
I will try to accomplish this today.
Sale will be final.
Thanks again R/C.
