Bachelor Pad Style

Hey there,
just wondering if anyone has any photo's (or links too)of some cool bachelor pads from the 50's and 60's.
I loved the pad of Catcher Block in the movie "Down with love"....and how about the gadgets!!

Have you seen the Jack Lemmon movie "Under the Yum-Yum Tree?" That movie has about the best pad I have seen of that period in film. It certainly is the funniest.

This is creeping into the 60s, but check out the one in 'Boys' Night Out' (1962) and Buddy Love's pad in 'The Nutty Professor' (1963).

The makers of 'Down With Love' of course stole everything from the Doris Day/Rock Hudson pics of the 50s. Checkout 'Pillow Talk', 'Lover Come Back', 'Send Me No Flowers' for the real deal.

Senator Jack you do have a mighty fine pad that I am sure would woo any canary into submission!!
Very well done, I love the fact that it all matches and looks like you purchased them from the same store with a particular style in mind.
I too have a very cool pad and was interested in other people style ideas.
I'll post some pictures soon. I always find it funny when the real estate agency does an inspection once every 6 months and it's always a new girl, the look on their face when they step in is always priceless.
I never say anything,I just watch the expressions,it always cracks me up!
I also must say that the power of the bachelor pad over a lady is something to take note of....conditions must be just right.....mood lighting,lounge music in the background....perhaps Julie London, Frank or Martin Denny....ahhh now that's livin. I can't wait for my next date.
