Barlesoni?

A second Barlesoni: this is a beast of a different stripe. The brim is western stiff and without any flange. The crown is softer, but it’s also thicker than any fedora I’ve handled. The sweatband has completely rotted and curled under itself. The liner is glued in place and no labels were found. There really isn’t anything redeeming about this hat and I fear this is indicative of the brand under Bollman. This wouldn’t be a good buy at any price.

Neither of the Barlesoni hats I recently reviewed were anything worth keeping, but this hat is by an order of magnitude the worst of the two.

Interesting comparison, Brent. I had always gathered that this brand made nice hats, which had me wondering why they would try to ride the coattails of Borsalino. Your assessment and comparison makes it obvious why.
