BEAUTIFUL CUSTOM MADE JACKET!
Made for Roger M. King, television impresario--the man who made Oprah famous!
c. 46, 48L. Measurements:
Chest: 24 1/2
Sleeve: 25 3/4 (+1 1/2)
Shoulder: 21

This jacket was custom made in March 1996 for Roger M. King, the man who made both *Jeopardy* and *Wheel of Fortune* famous--and who later made Oprah Winfrey into a national sensation. Roger King sold his company, King Productions, to CBS in 2000 for $2.5 Billion. So he could aford to dress well--as this jacket shows!
Cut from a beautiful heavier mid-weight summer-sky blue wool cloth with overchecking in cream and field green this is a contemporary two button jacket with darts and a single center vent.
Half-canvassed and fully lined in a custom lining, this lovely jacket features extensive handwork throughout, with pick stitching on the lapels and the pocket flaps and hand sewn buttonholes. It has three button cuffs with faux buttonholes--also hand sewn.
It was custom made in the USA.
This is in absolutely excellent condition, and likely cost a small fortune when it was new. But since King was a billionaire, he could afford it!
If you're a larger chap--Roger King was 240lbs and 6'4"--this would be a perfect jacket for you... and if you're not and would just like to own a lovely custom made garment with a link to television history, this would be great for you too!
