Dear fellow hat lovers.
I have sadly decided to part with my Brent Black Panama hat, purchased last year. The reasons are threefold:
1. It would only be appropriate to wear in my climate for two months per year.
2. I don't fancy traveling on an airplane with the hat, or carrying a large hat box around to protect it during travel.
3. I will be out of the country all summer this year, so I will lose a year of use anyway.
So, I would be happy to offer it up to a fellow lounge member! It's one of his "safari edition" Cuenca hats, not a Montecristi (https://www.brentblack.com/safari-edition-panama-hats.html). The are not as whispy thin as the Montecristis, but they're more durable and have a much finer weave count than the equivalently priced Montecristis. They're all hand woven, with woven brims, and are blocked by Brent. I requested a custom blocking in his "Havana" style, which as you can see from the pictures has a marvelous shape.
The size is 24 inches (correction from listing title, I forgot I had originally orded 24 1/4, then went with 24 after trying on Brent's sample bands. So, to clarify, it's 24 inches, or 61 cm), with a 1 1/4 inch sienna ribbon. The brim ranges from 2.75 to 3 inches. I paid $577 for it new last year (extra cost for the larger size), and wore it all of three or four times. It comes with Brent's original box and all papers. See photos. I'm offering it at a $100 discount. I take Paypal, Zelle, or Revolut. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions! I hope it goes to a good home! Price includes CONUS shipping.
