I know brooks are generally known for mediocre leather, but this one of the nicest leathers I’ve ever seen

It’s branded Harley Davidson but I’m 99% sure it’s made by Brooks, sz.42

Surprised to see an AMF logo there but according to Wikipedia AMF owned HD in the 70s.
And they engineered nuclear reactors!
Didn't know that I always thought they were just a bowling company.

I know some of the old Harley Davidson AMF pieces were made by brooks (the cafe racers). Something I’ve noticed is these leathers seem to often look better, less plasticky and mroe graining than Brooks.

Can anyone verify this, or is it just a coincidence in what I’m seeing?

Anyone have any experience with brooks cross zips? Are they as cool as the cafe racers?

I love the coloured Brooks. Not many can be found in the UK, the Americans are in luck!
