Hello Fedora Fans,

I had some trouble with my login today on the Lounge, I received a page that displayed the heading oopssss, we rean into a problem, after receiving that a couple of times I decided to ask Microsoft Co Pilot a question, I ask which on line forum has the best information about making fedora hats, The Fedora Lounge is tops and I ask AI to display everything that was available, then clicked on a forum page link, then I was able to login. One way to work around the problem.

Ebay has started something new, every time that I login now I have to enter all of the login information and now
Ebay has set it up so you have to verify your login with a text message from them before you can gain access to your listings.

Interesting, maybe time to ask Co-Pilot what happen with the Ebay website this past weekend??
Try asking Co Pilot, you will get a full report on the Ebay problem.

Co Pilot will even help with instructions on making a fedora.

Any thoughts,
Darrell

That is an interesting workaround. I'll have to give it a shot. I haven't had any issues with my eBay listings since the site was DDOS attacked.

Hello Fedora Fans,

It has been a while since I posted anything new on the forum. Today I have a new fedora to post, the hat size is 7 1/4", the felt is a FEPSA 100% pure rabbit in bone color, the brim width is 3", open crown is 5 1/2", the crown has a single crease, crown height at the front crease is 4 1/2", height at the back is 4 1/4", height on the sides is 5 1/4", the brim binding is 1/2" wide bone color grosgrain ribbon, the hat band is a western style in 1/2" wide bone color, the hat band bow was fun to make, something new for me. The leather sweatband is chestnut with a little black bow, the satin hat liner is a cream color. I have change my label on the liners to one line, Busted Hats. I am easy to find on Ebay now, just type in bustedhats, I have 4 hats for sale right now, this will be the fifth fedora. The hats maybe listed for a while, but I will continue making and listing hats for sale.
Have a look at the photos of this FEPSA rabbit fedora, contact me if you are interested in buying this fedora.

Have a Great Weekend,
Darrell

Thanks to everyone for your feedback, I do appreciate it,

Beautiful work, as always.
Thank you Sir. I really appreciate the feed back on the hats that I make. I am always looking for ways to improve my work. There is always a way to improve the work or something new to learn. Learning how to make the bow on this fedora was a test for me, getting the folds right and the length of ribbon needed for the bow.

Thank You Randy, I really appreciate all of the feed back that I receive on the hats that I make, when I work on a new hat I try to find a better way of doing the work, I have made some changes in the way that I make hats and I am slowly improving. I am still learning and always will be looking for a new way to do something. I have started using a sewing machine for the brim bindings, I found a machine that works great & at my speed-slow. I purchased a Janome MD-30 just for brim bindings.

Sounds like you are collecting the equipment to help do the job properly, too. I keep up with your work and I can see the improvements. Keep learning, my friend.

Really nice work, Daryl. It’s great to see a new build from you on the forum! The proportions look great, and that new western-style bow is a fantastic twist. The new one-line liner script looks sharp, too. Someone is going to definitely enjoy this hat!
