I thought you were the one who sniped me last night on a Stetson derby! :rage: It was nice; no one had bid on it until I did a couple of minutes before the end of the auction. Unfortunately, my system was running slow so I couldn't up my max bid in time. Guess I should have set my max bid higher to begin with.

Maybe it's time for me to start using sniping services myself.

Sorry, I don't remember that one, but I'd say you can't go wrong with any hat that was made around 1930-1950 and a Dobbs Twenty is one of the best examples, IMO!

The only 40s brown Dobbs 20 I remember by now, was totally ruined by a COW member who thought it'd make a nice Indiana Joney Fedora![huh] :rage:

@RBH: I just grabbed the brim at the back, turned the sides up and pull it back a bit. In fact the felt is so smooth and floppy I have to rebash the brim every time I put on the hat.
