I like it! After checking out the CD in person, it seemed to me that it would be just about the perfect hat with a 'proper' ribbon

The best part of your re-ribboning to me is the dip above and below the knot. That gives it a real signature. Nice job!

The small "knot" on the bow was my third attempt. I liked the look. The first two attempts looked a bit "factory". The first was a double bow with the under bow white. It didn't look right against the grey.

Is that a Mk. III? The brim looks pretty wide. I hated my FedIV, it looked waaaaay too small. Once I broke out the ruler I found that it was narrower by up to a quarter of an inch, all the way around....

I meant to ask if that is a Federation III (due to the apparently larger dimensions) or if it is a Federation IV lol ? Regardless, it looks good!

I guess you would call it the Federation I.
There wasnt a III or IV being made when I bought this one.

That bound edge Fed is great looking.
So is the wide-ribbon Campdraft.
It would be great to see the green camper with a shade darker wide ribbon.
