Hello all,
I've just purchased a hat. It is a black fedora with a 2 7/8, unbound, snap brim. On the liner it says "Genuine Beaver" above the piture of a Beaver standing to the left of a fallen tree. Below that it says, "Custom Made".
On the band it says, "Andrew Cross, 1551...", and the rest has been worn away. Also on the band is, "Beaver **Xxx".
From a paper tag in the hat, I believe the hat was made in December of 1972. The quality appears to be, in a word, astounding. Pictures to follow...
Can anyone tell me about this hat, or its quality.
Lorne
