Casablanca at the airshows...

I just happened across this - Turner Classic Movies has a restored DC3 that they're taking to airshows around the country this summer. In conjunction, they're also doing a free screening (on a big screen) of Casablanca nightly.

Next weeked (8/4-6) they're here in Seattle at Boeing Field at the Museum of Flight. I'm assuming it's one of those inflatable outdoor big-screens since they mention it being "set against the beautiful open sky."

Then:
Chicago at Navy Pier - 08/18-19
Indianapolis at Mt. Comfort Airport - 08/26-27
St Louis at Spirit of St. Louis Airport - 09/01-04
Virginia Beach at Naval Air Station Oceana - 09/08-10

But in general...how cool is that?!?!?!?

I hope to see some photos of FL members posing in front of the DC3 in their best fedora and trenchcoat.

My office sits at the western edge of the main runway at Sprit of St. Louis Airport.

Each Labor Day St. Louis County has a big fair and air show. I get to see all the Confederate Air force vintage planes, Blue Angels, etc,

I’ll be looking for the DC-3 on Sept 1.
