Thanks for sharing that. It looks much nicer than the ad for it. I'm keeping my eyes peeled, though I might find hens teeth first. (not sure if i'd wear hens teeth mind you)

Yeah, that's a peach. The finest hat in my collection, and perhaps the best hat I've actually held in my hands, is a blue Cavanagh homburg. It has that same quality you speak of -- the felt is stiff but still soft on the surface.

And I really groove on that feathered trailing edge on the bow. A Cavanagh signature element, I believe. At least I've never seen it on anything but a Cavanagh.
