Well, most of you all know I'm a sucker for Miller on the radio... some of those broadcasts haunt me... don't know why but, they're special to me.
I've got a great MP3 disk a friend made for me which is full of rare broadcasts of Camel and Chesterfield broadcasts... Thanks again RadioDismuke! The Camel broadcasts are all from about '38 to '39... I get the chills when I hear "Let's Dance" and the announcer's voice... it's what radio should be... live music being aired! What a time to have lived.
Well, I also like the Miller shows because there's a great deal of material that isn't really heard much... songs such as "The Man In The Moon" "Orange Blossom Lane" "High On A Windy Hill" "Why Couldn't it Last (Last Night)" and many others.
I found a great site that I can make my own play list and post it on my "Myspace" page. So, last night I made a list of rare tracks of about 22 and posted them on my page. So, for the Miller fans out there, you can all enjoy rarely heard tunes of Ray Eberle and the Modernaires with Glenn.
