Cleaning and blocking

Do hats shrink when they're cleaned and blocked? What's your experience?

I am probably too new for this one, but when they reblock and clean a hat i believe it goes on a wooden hat block which actually stretches the hat back out.

Generally not Aerol, but it depends on the hat itself as to felt content and who is doing it. Some lower grade felts will shrink, not generally higher grade.
