Or worse, start singing and dancing and immediately stop if anyone else is watching.

"Hello my baby, hello my honey, hello my ragtime gal..."

Does it ring like a real alarm clock? I may have to get one. "Beep beep beep" just doesn't cut it.

No, no, no you guys, it's a clock, not Michigan Frog! Now, since it looks like a clock from a WB cartoon, it's made by ACME and will only last a few days... or, blow up!

The best clock I've bought was a 1939 Westclox 'BIG BEN' it's a wind up and works great! It's even streamlined! One can find one on ebay for under $20.

Just for fun, here's a link to Michigan Frog's first preformance! Such a classic!

Its a regular ole wind-up alarm clock. The alarm is mechanical - the bells. You can open the back and see all the gears. It has an adjustment to advance or retard the movement. The ticking makes for nice white noise. I think you'd have to wind it up about once a week. A Restoration Hardware would sell the thing for $40. Lots of them in stock @ Ikea for $7.

Sounds kind of cool... I'm happy you're pleased with your purchase!

For me, there's nothing like an old clock... will last forever... but, do get the most of enjoyment out of your clock! I'm happy they're making a windup model!

Bought this at Ikea last Sunday. $7. You have to wind it and it makes a pleasant ticking sound.

We bought that some time ago, too, and we'll return it as soon as possible. No need for the ringing, the monster ticking sound is keeping awake the whole street anyway.
