Nice guy. He's been in business in the same location for many, many years. I wish him ongoing success.
His shop is in a gentrifying old neighborhood business district (Madrona) in Central Seattle.
He knows what he's doing, apparently. I've seen his work, both all-new hats and refurbs.
I'm curious about your interest in him, though. Are you considering sending some work his way?

Oh, I dunno. I suppose I just find it interesting that Mr. Conley would attract the attention of a potential customer in far-away Missouri. He doesn't have a particularly strong online presence, as far as I can tell. Sure, he has a website, but rare is the mention of him on online forums. But perhaps that's changing. The 'net certainly can be (and is, in some cases) a powerful marketing tool for small specialty businesses, such as one-man hat shops.
