Hi gents. It came with this reddy brown lining, that I think is the same one they probably use for the M422 navy jackets.

My question is simple. Do you think this reddy brown lining is a good match with this orangey brown shell or is it a clash? I know what I think, but what do you think?

I don’t dislike the color of the liner but it wouldn’t be my first choice. A cream or muted olive green would’ve been what I would’ve asked for. I’m not terribly about liners and this color really wouldn’t bother me at all.

I agree. It wouldn't be my choice but I think it looks pretty nice.

As you may have noticed above, I've had the lining changed. BK sent me what I'd term as a pure brown, and I'm very pleased with the revision

The back is as it should be. Magnificent jacket.

Corduroy is my new frontier. I just bought 2 vintage corduroy coats. Never thought of a new make.

That's interesting Terry. I wonder what sort of weight the originals were made in?

16oz is a meaty, robust thickness. Not too thick, but certainly not lightweight
