crazy fabric, two button jacket. How old?

I got this today for five bucks at an antique mall (different one than I got the hat at).

The pictures are so bad they're almost ebay-worthy, so I'm sorry.

From the little you can tell from the shots, how old would you say this is?

It's mad of a very interesting fabric, is skeleton lined, and has patch pockets, including the ****** pocket. It fits, and has no moth bites or stains.

What size do you wear? I came across a killer 50's suit in blue a few days ago. Too small for me. Seems it was a medium blue with a white window payne sort of thing goin on.

I went back today, and actually had a chance to look around. The same person had three other similar jackets, in the same size, for 10 bucks or so each. Somehow, none of the fabrics on any of the others looked good at all on me.
