Interesting idea! Looks to work quite well. Myself, I use the edge of my hand and my forefinger and thumbs to finish it out with the pinch.

You could always use a bottle of scotch instead of a rolling pin.

If you want a wider crease, yes.

I once tried to crease a hat with a rolling pin, the end result was a pancake.
Now I know not to press and roll.

I came home rather late and smelling of copious amounts of alcohol.... Mrs OG creased my hat into a center dent that night, yes she did......

That story was inevitably to come up...
