I have the Alexander steerhide one as shown in their photo. The leather is supple but thick so looks bulkier. It also looks dull of course compared to the CXL.

It would be nice if they could offer both options, I think. I imagine most of us are unlikely to wear it on a bike anytime soon, so I suppose it's largely a cosmetic thing. I'm sure there'd be a market for both options, though.

Mn, this is one I just feel a little bit of a sheen really lifts as a design... though that's largely subjective preference.
