I have been asked to make some children's hats for an individual. Realistically, this doesn't look too hard, as I already have the supplies. However, I have two concerns that have me stumped:
1) Since the hats wil be for children, should I be concerned about using felt or fur-felt for allergies, etc? These will NOT be sewn hats, but steamed.
2) What would you suggest I use for forms? These are for itty bitty heads, and my forms are only for adults. A bowl will not be the right shape; for one of the hats I will need an egg-shape for the tiny head.
Thank you for any suggestions, guidance and pointers.
