The hat is mine, and currently on Ebay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/131141783131?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649
This is a lovely, soft felt Dark Green Royal Stetson made in the post-WWII era. It's a bit darker green than the pictures show, as they were shot using a flash. As a result, it's a nice color for all occasions.
It's all original, all over. It features the Royal Stetson imprint in the hat band, and the original store's imprint on the other side: Frankel's Des Moines, Iowa. I really like the feel of this felt - it's soft and can easily be shaped as you wish. The hatband is in excellent condition.
I tried stretching this Stetson to fit my 7 1/4" head but it doesn't like to hold that size. I love the color and the soft felt, but it needs to be owned by someone who it fits better. The liner is in perfect condition and is cream-colored with a plastic overlay in the center of the crown.
It appears that this hat has been worn very seldom, and is in excellent condition. The felt has a wonderful soft, malleable feel to it.
This would be an incredibly classy St. Patrick's day hat (none of those fake hats for you, this is the real deal, made in the US after the second WW) or it's beautiful for everyday wear when it complements your outfit. It's a perfect example of Stetson at its peak as a men's hat maker.

- Ribbon is in complementary green, in good condition and is 1 7/8" wide
- Brim is 2 1/8" wide, and has a nicely folded over and stitched edge.
- Crown is about 4 3/4" tall but has room to shape it down a bit if needed
- Size is a slightly loose 7 1/8
