Deerskin Leather Jackets, Anyone?

According to Stuart at LW, the demand for deerskin is so small that they can no longer source hides at a price that is economically feasible, so they no longer offer deerskin (but they do have some moose and elk).

Lost Worlds has some really fantastic-looking moose hide jackets available as limited editions. The moose hide cashmere-lined peacoat looks amazing, if not prohibitively expensive ($2000).

I am discussing a deer-skin Aero with Amanda for a while now, but am still on the hunt (excuse the pun) for the kind of skins I want. I have some deer-skin items and simply love the feel of it.

No jackets yet, but my favorite leather vest is deerskin and I have been searching Ebay for a jacket that interests me.
I'm thinking WB Place or midwestern sport togs.

I have two, love them both and considering a third, by far the most comfortable to wear out of all leather types imho.

A car coat is something I’ve been pondering for awhile now, one of the only styles I don’t have covered in my collection. Deerskin would be perfect.
