I just followed a link to the 'More Hat Movies' thread - only to find out that it has obviously gone... Any idea what happened to it? [huh]

One of the Bartenders must have been cleaning up last night. A thread that I started yesterday was moved to the Display case section. I just posted a good bye to it since I don't leave this section of the lounge except to look at the classifieds. So it is probably in another part of the lounge.

Mario, Jeff is right. Its probably moved or merged into another thread. The "what else do you collect" thread is now in "The Display Case" section.

I was already suspecting this but usually the bartenders would leave a comment announcing that the thread has been moved/merged and where it can be found now.

The movie hat thread is still here but merged with the other movie hat thread.

Sometimes a simple search will show a much older thread with the same topic or subject, I will continue to merge such threads into the older
of the two or three ect.
The other things you collect thread is no longer here but in the display case as it has nothing to do with
collecting hats.
I did leave a redirect but must have made it expire too soon. Next time I will watch it.

The best way to search the lounge is to use Google advance search. Type what you are looking for in the search line. then at the bottom is a line the says

Search within a site or domain: type thefedoralounge.com in there and press search and there you go.

As to why I posted my thread here is because I was interested in what other Hat wearers (collectors), collect. I really have on interest in the other sections of the Lounge. I looked around when I first joined and said yup don't care not interested, not my cup of tea and came back to my table in the corner here in the Hat section. I have a Federation but I don't go over to COW no interest. I was interested in what things Hat people collect. No interest about Oh say what a WWII collector, collects unless they are a hat person that collects WWII stuff.

May be I am the oddball do a lot of you guys hand here only or say 90% of the time or do you hang all over the lounge?

Ah well. This only makes sense if Google has already (re-)indexed the page/thread in question, otherwise you'll end up with a browser error.
