I took a closer look at the pictures...and the one that shows the inside...you can see a tag that says 7 5/8...or 758....So I hoping.....

It arrived and fits really nice!

Couple of small moth nibbles...it's a Disney Viceroy...it has 7 5/8 in two different spots on it and an $11.98 price sticker on a real leather sweat.

The felt is really nice and takes a crease really well. Olive green color...2" brim and approx. 5" crown.

It had the bow in back, I guess a very post war look.

I mean no offence with this comment, dhermann, but do you or anybody else think that the back bow is a slightly feminine touch, or certainly "uni***". I mean, it makes me think of the sorts of hats some armed forces female uniforms adopt, with centralised bows front or rear.

I'd wear it, because it's a distinctive, cool-looking hat, and so should you, dhermann. But I wondered if anybody else had considered this hat was perhaps a uni*** model or style. I don't know what I'm talking about, really.

Flame away. I probably deserve it.

Fats...who knows...it might have been an attempt to distinguish a mans hat from a womans...or it might have been a designers attempt to be different. My Disney has a half bow on it, something I haven't seen before.[huh]
