Nothing in the drip pan. Might be empty!
Beauty for sure.
Beauty for sure.
It does dribble a bit when it's been sitting for a while, but just a bit. I need to change the gasket between the gearbox and the engine and just haven't gotten around to it yet since it's a bit involved, although most of the oil that's usually in the drip pan is from when I drain out the excess before riding it if it's sat for more than a day or so as it has a tendency to wet-sump. I need to continually check the oil anyway since it's a total loss system and the oil tank needs to be refilled every 150 miles or so as it either drips out or burns off. That's the way they designed them in the 1920s. It worked fine then and it works fine now. I like to point this feature out to environmentalists I come across from time to time.Nothing in the drip pan. Might be empty!

We should ban all electric vehicles, make v8s affordable, and make these environmentalists use deodorants, they bang on about clean air but usually look like they need a shower.I don't believe this ozone layer guff, gimme global warming,im freezing 10months of the year and soaked almost every day..bah humbug and merry Christmas. Now now Peter, everyone needs a hobby...
Awesome, ps don't get too close to those big harleys, their owners don't take to kindly to anyone near their bikes,Warmish midweek cappucino ride.
Flat calm sea, the view from our coffee stop. Popular with bikers and the joint is biker friendly.
This is the outer coastal city limits and makes for a good morning loop ride.

"You meet the nicest people on a Honda".
I rest my case......
I loved my cb550s, an orange f2 and then a black fourk.. orange bike was stolen and the black bike was reversed over by a blind BRS truck driver when I had only bought it new two weeks previously. Ferk ing raging I was.still got my cb400 fourWhat a fantastic history of scoots!
My current stable is a 1965 Triumph Bonneville, 1966 Matchless G85CS, and a 1974 Honda CB550. I am one of the nicest people I know - so I agree with the quote!!! Although I regularly think about selling the Honda and getting another Harley. Would love to be able to afford a pan someday along with the attitude adjustment.
