I won the hat.

I am smiling thinking back to the days when it would have seemed silly to quibble over an eighth inch of brim width when you found a perfect vintage hat in your size.

Of course, we were about 300 members then!


(And I remember eating Pop Tarts every meal and shopping at Goodwill out of necessity in my college days. What a blessing there was no eBay to tempt then)
