Dorothy Draper Designs

On the Sunday morning show on CBS they had a segment on Golden Era interior designer; Dorothy Draper. Martha Stewart is the 1990's version of Dorothy Draper. Since I don't know squat about interior designs is anyone familiar with her?

I saw the show this morning as well. I had heard the name and that was about it. I cringed at her mentioning of cutting off doors and table legs of priceless antiques, but, as you know, the show said that Cole Porter was the soundtrack of the age and she provided the setting!

She would design everything for the hotel; curtains, furniture, drink swizzers, napkins, etc. She did The Greenbrier in West Virginia after WWII and The Drake in Chicago. The Queen of the Art Deco.
