Double Helix Works-Western Pioneer Black Tea Core or Indigo

Hey all,

I’m looking at getting a Double Helix Western Pioneer as my first leather jacket and can’t decide between the
Western Pioneer Tea Core or Indigo colours. I love the look of both. Indigo seems more unique, but black feels more versatile long-term.

Any advice?

Although indigo is unique, I think you will be better with black as you said it’s more versatile and the patina from tea core will look amazing with this style

For black, my suggestion is their aniline black core leather since this is your first jacket. It will stay black. Unless you're absolutely positive you want the peeling off teacore exposed look.

Did you settle on either already? As for the indigo version, did you mean the dark or light version? I'm really interested in getting the darker but it's not super common so I'd love to see some used jackets...

Dark indigo or black is the way to go. I have many double helix jackets and they are spot on
