This is a very early beaver top hat. The sweatband was entirely missing, so I had a new one installed at Henry the Hatter along with a vintage satin ribbon. It's 23" ID, so approximately 7 3/8 size. These are hard to find in a larger size, and when you do find them the sweatbands are usually fragile. So this one solves that problem with a new professionally installed band. It's not in that great of shape unfortunately it's a bit rumpled and is worn around the top edge. There are some worn spots on the bottom side of the brim. If you want a top hat you can wear regularly without fear you'll ruin it, this is a great choice.
