This was a great find for me but I just don't have room for it in my new apartment. It contains most of the original items and is a great glimpse into the past that makes an AMAZING display piece!
Clockwise, starting with the green stuff in the upper right corner: Velvet Glove Hand Cream (mostly full), Cream Revenescence, For You Elizabeth Arden Perfume, dental floss, Powder (mostly full), Dry Skin Cleanser (full), unmarked bottle, Skin Freshener. Also contains Charles of the Ritz black eyeliner, cake mascara, red lip pencil, rouge and cream eyeshadow (color Blue Lagoon). In the very bottom of the train case is an empty container of Beautifying Face Cream, a half container of some honey-based moisturizer, a blue cardboard tube containing gauze, a bunch of old hairpins, an old container of Paregoric (Tincture Opium Camphorated), and a bottle from the Milton Hill Pharmacy in Milton, MA.
Most items in this case are Charles of the Ritz brand and the case dates to sometime after 1953, which is when Charles of the Ritz launched Cream Revenescence. More on Charles of the Ritz in this post.
$25 + shipping. You don't see ones like this too often!
