Era of Burberry Blue Plaid Double Breasted Topcost

Since menswear is not my forte I decided to come ask for guidance on what you think the era of this Burberry topcoat is. I am leaning towards late 1980s-mid 1990s, however, that is simply an uneducated guess on my part. I originally purchased the coat for my DH, however, unfortunately it is too small for him. I would appreciate any assistance you would be willing to extend.

Yes, that's no older than 1990, I'd say. Classic styling and a very nice coat.
