Judy Travels Abroad: July 10, 1958
If you like weird novelty clothing, my new blog post features a cardigan that my fiance gifted me for Valentine's Day. It has a poodle on it!
It's been a while since my last blog post. I was having computer issues that have since been resolved.
I just did a post on dyeing. I'm kinda a dye fiend.
I enjoy your blog posts about dyeing! I have cotton dress that was white when I bought it at the thrift shop, first I dyed it brown and then when I got tired of that I overdyed it purple. I also had a couple of floral printed dress I sewed for myself that after wearing a few times I overdyed turquoise and yellow. I have a book written in the 40's where the main character talks about dyeing a blouse several different colors, first pink and then navy blue to give new life to her limited wardrobe.
Judy never rests!

Judy has made it to Brussels.
Thanks for reading!
I've made a few small design changes to my blog. I think it looks a bit better. Take a look?
I have now linked my blog to its own Google+ page, Facebook page, and YouTube channel! I don't have any videos out yet, but expect some in the near future. If you'd like to follow any of these pages, go to http://starofthecity12.blogspot.com, click on links, and then click the photo of whatever social media it is that you use. Thank you!
That's awesome! My husband and I were experimenting with dye recently (he wanted a giant and sloppy George's cross). When our daughter came in and saw our red-stained hands and cloths, she exclaimed "What's happening?!" You should have seen her face when we told her "It's okay, mommy and daddy are just dyeing." Silly homophones!
My blog based on an authentic 1958 travel diary has been professionally spiffed up and re-started. I am posting one of Judy's journal entries every day... 57 years after each was written! Please consider subscribing to the daily email notifications. It's free, of course, and you can un-subscribe at any time.
I need to get back to blogging. It's been pretty sporadic lately... (my links are in my signature).
Hello all I started my own blog too if you are into super heroes, music and, food feel free to stop by for a visit
I do blog and tomorrow I will be starting a 10 day challenge to get it spruced up a bit. You should hopefully find the link in my signature.
Looks like I'm blogging again!
I no longer have access to a computer in order to help keep up with my blog. I use my smart phone for every thing these days and I mainly post on my Instagram page VeganVintageGeek and my YouTube channel also at VeganVintageGeek.
Just as a warning I support the president and I post a lot in my stories on my Instagram page.
Trying to blog again, too, about my outfits. I'm not very "Golden Era" anymore, but I still have it in my style. It's just not my ONLY style anymore.
I'm loving this -- post more!
Since I am too fat to sew at the moment, here's what I'm up to in 2020 lol. I'm not that interesting anymore and I'm ok with that.
I look like this now LOL.
I for one enjoy seeing what you post!
