Measuring length and width and using an ellipse calculator I got a 23.34" circumference. That is with no tension on a hat that appears to have never been worn. So I would say its pretty close to a true 7 3/8 if your using 23.5 circumference as a true 7 3/8.

I'm a true 7 1/4, and its big on me if that helps.

Hi Rob,

I have a near identical Adam that I bought from JohnnyPhi back when he had his big score of NOS hats.

My hat is identical to the grey one here, except for the color. It measures the same, and fits my 7 3/8 head really well.

There's a little extra space on the sides, but front to back it's perfect.
