I see a Tony Leather Thread coming. Custom jackets under USD 400. Very tempting.

That jacket pleased HH so much that he pulled an A1. All that’s left is a little puff of smoke.

I doubt he would entertain the idea lol

At first he said he only works with his in house leather and I could only send the badalssi to him during low season (May-July). Luckily I changed his mind.

On the sidenote, anyone have experience on using the HWT to shape the collar to make it curvy? If so could you share some technique on this? 159875068_o4.jpg

I am beginning to wonder if this Tony is the same Tony from Hercules leather company. The jacket from the OP's post looks like a Hercules Leather Co. jacket in terms of construction, as does the hide and liner....Maybe he has resurfaced? Just a thought...

I think Tony Leathers has been mentioned here before, and I don’t think he is the same guy as our English friend from Hercules.

    The HWT is super easy.
Turn on your hot water and let it get pretty hot. Run the back of your jacket’s collar under the water until you feel it “soften up.” Then quickly pat it dry and form it into the shape you like. Leave it to dry for a day or so. Done.
Leathers act differently. Some have a lot of wax and once the wax softens they shape and keep that shape easily. Certain leathers get hard afterwards, so it can be hit or miss. If you are concerned- go with a similar treatment but with cold water. I often use my steamer instead since it is more controlled.

Sounds easy enough. Will give it a shot with cold water first. Thank you!
