Flame Panda boots arch support

I’m a White’s fan and wouldn’t normally consider wearing other makes - I just love the White’s quality for the ‘Original’ lines.

I absolutely love 4811 and 690 lasts. I can ‘accept’ 55 but it’s on the clunky side for my feet width and taste.

Lately I’ve come across a few pairs of Flame Panda monkey boots. Because this is a style White’s don’t make - I’m pondering of trying a pair.

For those of you own both White’s and Flame Panda boots - how would you describe their quality and comfort once broken in? What about sizes - for 55 I wear 8D, for 4811 and 690 I wear 8.5D. What Flame Panda models have the highest arch support, and what size you’d reckon I get based on the above?

I don't have any experience with Flame Panda, but I was considering him as well until I read about the 3 year wait time and their poor communication. Just a heads up if you weren't aware.

I have experience with both the 55 last and multiple Flame Panda lasts.
Overall you're not going to get same level of arch support as PNW boots but it's there. The ones I've tried (181, 131) have more arch support than my Vibergs.
I find many Flame Panda lasts are lower volume and have slightly low instep. I'd generally recommend sizing TTS.
Quality is outstanding. Very robustly constructed and finished. I'm wearing a pair of 181 service boots right now and they're very comfortable (if you size right).

Thank you guys! Arch support is very important to me. I have to put arch insoles in my Church’s and Tricker’s for work… I’ll order a pair of White’s Oxford when they have Father’s Day sale - thinking 4811 last double mid sole, LTT!

Guess I’ll give Flame Panda a pass. For the same reason I tried Rolling Dub Trio but decided the arch support wasn’t enough given how used to I’m to White’s

Franks gets rave reviews. The only reason i ordered whites instead of franks is franks doesnt make a slip on.

Man that sounds too tempting!! I want black boots recently. Don't have a pair.
