The Roadster jacket evolved out of necessity. In the 1930s, when motorcycles were more a means of transportation than a hobby, riding apparel needed to have specific qualities. Jackets had to offer protection, look good, and provide room for movement. As a result, most classic roadster jackets from that era had a rather slim silhouette. Our Roadster 1932 jacket is made from moleskin, also known as "English leather," which is crafted from heavy, one-sided brushed cotton satin. Moleskin was used in workwear due to its durability. After weaving, one side of the fabric is brushed, giving it a soft touch similar to suede. The jacket features a slim fit, action back for freedom of movement, and adjustable waist straps. One inner pocket and three outer pockets provide ample storage for everyday essentials.
