Fountain pen ink

Ummm... maybe it's just me, but I like the smell of ink as it is. Putting extra scents in ink makes me think that it can't be good for the pen, especially vintage writing instruments. Besides, I'd rather get a nice handwritten note from a fountain pen along with REAL chocolate.

Fletch-have you ever tried esterbrook lefthanded nib?

Mom did in 50's as did other lefty relatives and older friends.
