The Iron Heart IHM-37-BLK N1 Deck Jacket is an improved, modern version of the old-school military original produced in a 12 oz. heavy-duty Whipcord twill that has been reactive dyed in Black and finished to 14 oz. with a water-resistant, fluorine-free oiled treatment that will patina over time and is lined with a brown Alpaca Wool blend for warmth and luxurious comfort. This winter weather, war-ready piece with new vintage appeal is an elevated reproduction based on the WWII Naval Jacket that debuted on Normandy's beachheads and remained in use by Naval deck and officer personnel for several decades. This Whipcord is fashioned after military-grade fabrics made from hearty cotton in a hard twisted yarn that's woven into a twill to create a corded ribbing effect while adding durability, further enhanced with an eco-conscious oil, creating a water-resistant fabric with a dry waxed feel and vintage hand that will patina with the heavy use this piece is intended to endure. This specialized N1 Deck Jacket features interlining to enhance wind and water resistance and is lined with a long-pile alpaca wool blend in the body, complemented by a quilted satin sleeve lining that provides insulation, functionality, and a finished feel. Asian Model: 6'0'' and 175 lbs. wearing size S for a slim fit that hugs the body, and room for a t-shirt or light layer underneath. The body length comes up a tad short for model's preference, and can look a bit too slim when buttoned up. If model desires to wear an Iron Heart UHF underneath with ease and comfort, model would take a size M. On the size M, the body length is better, but the sleeve length is a little long on the model.
Iron Heart Outerwear sizing is graded in small increments, and the 37-BLK generally runs true to Iron Heart sizing. To accommodate layering, consider going one size up from your common Iron Heart size, or the larger size of your range. For a tailored fit or to wear with just a base layer, consider going with your normal or the smaller of your Iron Heart size range.
