I actually have had the exact same jacket on order from Thedi! I ordered as a wedding present to myself, inspired by @ABCD as well. I think it is one of the coolest jackets I've ever seen and my personal grail design, combining all my favorite characteristics from the best leather jacket models into one Frankenstein of perfection in pattern form. I paid a deposit for it a year ago but ended up telling him to wait because I'm losing weight and dont want to have it made until my weight stabilizes. The wait for that to happen has been torturous, but Thedi has been a joy to communicate with.

All that pointlessly said, I think this looks absolutely awesome on you, and for a vintage style jacket the length looks perfect to me. If you prefer longer, understandable, but I dont think there is anything wrong with this fit and length unless you have a particular preference for longer jackets. If you keep it we can have a 3 person jacket meetup sometime after mine is delivered, haha. If you do end up selling it, you will make someone else very happy I think!

This jacket has sparked an interesting discussion. People will always have different opinions about the style and how a jacket should fit. I really think it’s great that there is so much encouragement to keep the jacket and save me from an impulsive decision. I still don’t know if this is the perfect jacket for me but I’m willing to find out and see how the next year will go.
