⚜ INFO ⚜
Black woolen coat by John Bell, Paris.
Made of thick & heavy, pure wool of near-black, charcoal colour. The fabric is solid, firm and smooth but not at all fuzzy, coarse or rough. It doesn't feel fleece-y to the touch like so many coats, but somehow... right. Can't put it any better than that.
Very, very warm and considerably wind-proof.
The coat features three button closure, two exterior hand-warmer pockets plus two interior slash pockets. Lining of notable quality. Hand-finished & thoroughly beautifully structured. Center-vent back.
I am annoyingly particular when it comes to tailoring and coats I don't even want to get into due to how difficult it is to find one that I like. They either wear the wearer or flat out ****.
This one I like. Not like; Love. While as minimalist as it gets, I don't think that I have ever seen a coat with proportions, details and features in such perfect balance.
But regardless of my personal preference and what merit, if any, it may have, you should be able to tell that from a technical standpoint, this thing is a work of art.
⚜ CONDITION ⚜
Minimal, if any, signs of wear & use. I cannot overstate flawless & perfect and how devoid of that particular vintage-y aura it is, that even NOS clothes so often suffers from. It might have been made a year ago!
⚜ SIZE & DIMENSIONS ⚜
Without a size tag but in by my approximation, the coat corresponds to a size EU 52 (US 42) or L (Large) and the measurements, taken to the best of my abilities, are...
For any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me. Happy to help. The jacket will be shipped from the European Union. Thank you!
