I took a chance and bought these stunning John Lofgren boots from Japan bc I couldn’t find them in the US. They’re amazing—but sadly don’t fit; need a half size up. I love the brown contrast stitching. They fit to me like true to size I’m usually Brannock 10. All my other JL boots are 9.5D/E but these are tight.
Here’s the thing—I paid import duties/tariffs already, which don’t get refunded if I return the shoes. I also have to pay return shipping to Japan for the refund and even more import duties if I want an exchange.
So… I will be mailing these back to Japan on Saturday unless somebody here wants them. They’re $980 USD on the Lofgren website and worth it. Save yourself some tarriffs and let’s keep these in the US.
