For sale is this beautiful and unique Langlitz Leathers custom-made motorcycle-riding jacket (1980s) in excellent condition. Very minimal wear - excellent condition.
This is a Langlitz Leathers vintage custom handmade leather motorcycle riding jacket with fringed back and arms. Langlitz Leathers is a family-owned business based out of Portland, Oregon. Established in 1947 by Ross Langlitz, they pride themselves on remaining a small business and have consistently created some of the world’s finest motorcycle jackets for decades. Langlitz have gained a loyal following of motorcycle enthusiasts who appreciate the company’s commitment to craftsmanship and style.
Made of world-class abrasion resistant cowhide leather and weighing over 4lbs, this jacket features a kidney support waistband with adjustable ties, zip pockets on sleeves, one interior zip pocket and one non zip, thinsulate lining, as well as brass hardware and fringe (made of the same thick leather). This piece was custom-made in the 1980’s and is made to last multiple lifetimes. No foul odors, no leather damage or blemishes, hardware works without fault.
Measurements are as follow:
Armpit to armpit: 18"
Shoulder to shoulder: 16"
Bottom of collar to bottom of jacket (back): 19.25”
Bottom of collar to bottom of jacket (front): 20.5”
Bottom hem (slightly cinched):15" (adjustable via leather laces)
Shoulder seam to end of sleeve: 21.25”
