Hello,
Up for grabs is this late 1940s horsehide Sportclad with incredible patina. The leather on this jacket remains good and feels quite sturdy; no significant cracking, collar in good shape, no significant fraying at the cuffs. Chest pull and pockets remain intact. One area with a tiny bit of leather loss. The main zipper has been displaced at the tape, but can actually be zipped up with some care (as pictured) The jacket has lining issues and one area of stitching issues (on the forearm side of the right sleeve, and is actually not really noticeable as it stands), and is priced accordingly. The rest of the jacket feels quite strong and can certainly hold with wear. No foul odors - it actually still has a pleasant dull horsehide smell to it.
I'm selling this one because it's just too big for me. Passing it on to someone who wants to either wear it as is or put in some work. The jacket has tons of life left it in and has a really quite incredible color and pattern to it. Here's your chance to own a beautiful looking jacket from an iconic jacket maker at a quite affordable price. This one always gets comments on how it looks.
Measurements are as follows (and pictured):
Armpit to armpit: 23.4"
Shoulder to shoulder: 20"
Length from bottom of collar: 25"
Bottom hem: 22.25"
Sleeve length taken straight from shoulder seam: 24.75"
Price is $135 shipped in the continental U.S. (Paypal friends and family). Please reach out if you have any questions.
