Hello TFL-

I picked these up from Rivet and Hide mid December of 2025 and unfortunately I did not size them correctly and I need to let them go. They've been worn to the office 4 times total. Includes boots, box and tags. Out sole measures 30.5cm. For reference I'm somewhere in-between an 8.5/9 E on the Brannock. I have flat wide feet and by sizing down to the 8 the length is fine but I find them too narrow for my feet.

Dropped to 625 usd shipped anywhere in the USA via FEDEX; shipping from Texas. (PPFF, VENMO or ZELLE)

From Rivet and Hide:

The Casper Side-Zip Boot is a sleek, minimal wholecut in lustrous black horsehide. Its deep, oil-black leather features subtle grain and a gentle crinkle that builds character as it breaks in.

LEATHER: Horsehide
STYLE/FIT: Side-Zip Boot
COLOUR: Black
DETAILS:
-D width
-Side-zip style
-Wholecut upper
-Italian kip lining
-Cork outsole
-Branded metal toe cap
-Goodyear welted
-Brass zipper
-Woven pull tab
ORIGIN: Made in Japan

The Casper Side Zip Boot is an impressively sleek wholecut design. Its all-black finish and brass hardware give it a minimal, understated look from a distance, but up close it reveals rich artisanal detailing.

Made in small numbers, each pair is fitted with a cushioned full-leather insole and a heavy-duty rubberised cork outsole. It’s a boot of formidable heft and solid build, yet it breaks in quickly for all-day comfort.

The Italian horsehide used here is tough yet immediately pliable. Very easy to break in, with a subtle grain and a rich lustre. It’s a tea-core tannage, so it won’t just break in with all the characteristic leather rolls of a horsehide, but will also develop a subtle brown patina over time. Truly a one-of-a-kind boot.

A note on sizing: For D-width or average-volume feet, we recommend sizing down one full size from your typical trainer size. Those with wider feet may prefer a half size down.

There’s no pictures of the side profile or how much wear is on the tread making it pretty tough to tell really anything about these
