Up for sale a very special piece from my collection -

Authentic 1940s–early 1950s Montgomery Ward engineer boots in very good, wearable vintage condition. A solid original pair that hasn't been worn into the ground like so many examples from this era.

Retains the original woven Montgomery Ward "Blue Band" label. The leather is thick, substantial, and has aged well, retaining excellent body and structure. The silhouette is exactly what you'd expect from the period—sleek and well-proportioned 1940s silhouette. A last that has been studied and reproduced by high end boot makers, but nothing touches an original pair. Really just amazing quality, as I've compared this pair to later boots from the 50s, 60s, etc.

These are fully wearable as-is and don't require any restoration. Asking price is $800, or near offer, shipped in the continental U.S.
