Yes it's a German company. The name is "Bronnold" Hutfabrik. They were located in Amberg, Bavaria. I have a hat from the same company.

Hi a lot of things that I sell come from German sources! I'm quite far down the pecking order so I don't really have any idea where they come from but I get a lot of things with made in West Germany written in them! Ties, Shoes, Jackets etc. but I only really have serious interest in the hats! I think there is so much more history and a story with each hat!

I would guess most are 1960s and later. If possible please post photos of the older ones (1950s and back) when time permits.

Looks more like Rudolf Hübner to me. First letter is a latin H and the last an r with a paraph at the end.
